China Tour with the Jena Philharmonic

Six concerts with four different programs in three different cities: I had a wonderful tour with the Jena Philharmonic, and especially the Beethoven cycle in prestigious Qintai Concert Hall Wuhan with three different overtures, the Piano Concertos 3-5 with wonderful soloist Ran Jia, and symphonies 3-5 on three consecutive evenings was a huge success.

Old and Dear Friend

Our musical discussions were always enriching my knowledge, and his own dessert Cranachan will stay in my culinary memory forever!
